Like the rest of you, I am shocked at this senseless, selfish act....
So many lives lost and broken families....... Its insane.
I called some of my family members being from VA..............they had friends/neighbors whom had 2 kids there and are among the wounded. So sad!
God bless that community.
Prof............I can only imagine how this has affected you......Did you discuss it today with your students? Must have been hard to do your job today......a very sad day.

Patrick, I've been retired for nearly a year...but my phone and email have been going crazy...students usually feel so safe on a university campus...this kind of thing tears that security away for all students...learning in a safe environment is vital to the critical thinking process,,,all students will suffer from this horrible event.
But one of the things that is so marvelous about young people is that they recover quickly...

I've been thinking on this all day....and I still cant make sense of it.
I am not a college student, and failed miserably at it. But these "Kids" who were at a prestigious University (In my Eyes) learning to do something I consider difficult get slaughtered by some mindless ****.
Makes it hard to swallow sometimes.
Everyday when I watch TV or see the news I keep thinking that Django is right. The world is plumetting towards melt down. The fall of Humanity is only inches away....
I pray for the dead, the wounded and that Gods Vengeance will be bestowed upon that Heathen for Eternity.
I think even Satan hates this sorry waste of flesh.

I keep watching the news............I feel the need to know whom lost their lives and or were wounded. Its an awful time for so many people. They really need our prayers.
