Just got my JMB CAI from spe_ chati.Looking to sell my volant CAI
I will take $150.00 +shipping.Been in my truck for 6 months +/-.

I've seen a lot of the Volant CAI's go up for sale recently... Just curious as to why? How does the way it ties into the hood scoop affect the temps of the truck or does it at all?

For me .... I wanted more of a bling factor :p So went from the Volant to JMB on the R/C. I still have the Volant on the Q/C:rock:

You know I thought it was at first.Truck runs aroung 200 in traffic,even with
a 170 t-stat.Took the scoop off and did not make any diff at all.So the answer would be NO.I am switching out the volant because the JMB just looks bad ass.Got a good deal from a member on this site that could not use his.This would be a great deal for someone who want's an aftermarket CAI at a great price.These are 450 new.Been in my truck for around 6 months.Works fine and the sound is awesome.:rock:

Exactly why I am switching mine.Nothing wrong with the volant.The JMB just
looks suuweet.perf.gains are min at best.You do get an awesome sound with the CAI systems though.:rock:
 
Thanks, payment is on its way to you. I grew up in Fairfax just 5-10 minutes dwn the road. Ur not missing much up here anymore. The traffic is brutal and causes me to find plenty of backroads to open up all 10 cylinders and start smiling. Thanks again!!!
 
Sounds good. i need to head west to open the truck up and really enjoy it!! Im in Gainesville, VA so I can take 66West to head your way. Are there any drive in meets or shows out your area where we could meet up? Im gonna plan on attending the Incredible car/truck show thats held every year on fathers day at the Sully Plantation off of RT. 28 next to Dulles Airport. I havent seen a Viper Truck there yet and having one there should really turn heads. :D

There is a cruise-in every 2nd Saturday of each month in Luray (right along 211)

There is a cruise-in at Manassas Burger King (near the airport) every Saturday.I was just talking to Sharpimage last night about meeting there.Short notice I know,but today is looking good for me to go.I'm about 1 and 1/2 hrs from there.
