imho the volant looks like a can of smashed a holes................the mopr cai and justins are really nice the mopar piece is expensive like 4 0or 500 bucks maybe even more

you should not drink before you type ,,,or try proof reading your post ,,,

From what I've always herd, with the placement of the scoop so far back. At speed the air rushes over the scoop drawing a vacuum on the engine compartment. Creating a venturi effect and drawing the heat to the cooler atmosphere. The scoop stops that from happening and most likly wouldn't even let that much air in.

Mopar is the coolest, jmb second

but I really like my K&N bought it for 100 bucks and I feel that it is leaps and bounds better than my K&N drop in filter.

I also get 10.9 instead of 9.7 MPG. Not that it matters but'..............

I've heard about weird idling rpm's with CAI's, is that true with all of them?

I'm specifically asking about the JMB.

Had it with the volant.Idle would surge back and forth from 700 to 200+/-
until I got to temp.switched to JMB and the problem went away.Wierd:dontknow:

i have had no idle problem with on mine ,,i would not buy one new for that crazy price but i have been thinking on the setup with a catch can ,,but i have riden in 10,s with all diff intakes ,,one is as good as rest ,,,its just a matter of what you like to look at:burnout:

i have one on my tuck and i could really tell a difference like saying when i hop on the high way really forcing some air in there! It was a great mod to invest in.
