Hello everyone,
I wanted to get a thank you out to this entire forum membership, for the undivided attention, concern, $upport, prayers, phone calls, PM's, GTG, letters, and for always being there for us during this incident. :embarrassed:
roud:
I want you all to know that you have (through your support) helped us to carry on... especially when things were so bleak.
The cognitive support has been invaluable....
When I read the post's to Dawn, it was pretty easy to see that her day was "just a bit better", had a bit more will to carry on, and somewhere within the threads always ended up providing us the very first laughs in the morning.
Every ones sacrifice precedes greatness, and you all should know that you serve as the true definition of selflessness:rock: No matter how much I have thought about what to say, type, or do for a thank you... it never seems to be enough.
Know that we will never forget all that has been done. To re-enforce that I must admit the usage of 12 dollars of donated monies towards the purchase of a Hybrid Hibiscus that I purchased at a local nursery. This plant is ever bearing with flower's, and I wanted to have "something" that we could enjoy, and would serve as a refreshing (daily) reminder of what remarkable happenings that have taken place here at the VTCOA. Today was it's first bloom, and Dawn and I went out to say a prayer of thanks and celebration of it's "birth", so that from now on it has purpose, meaning, and reflection.
I hope that these words can describe how humbled, honored, and grateful we are for all the support. We mean every word of it.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank YOU.
Forever Grateful,
Ken & Dawn
