Dennis, I think the people that did your hood messed up when they said they would NOT make anymore. I think that is why John (supercar) went and did what he did. I do like the fact that John's hood has the larger scoop. Stinker and Roz say their hood will have a larger scoop also, but I don't think any pics exhist at this time.

This has become quite a mess IMO. So i again will thank John (Supercar) for all he did.

Also look at it this way, with 3 different hoods, everyone has something to choose from.

Got my hood today and it is even better in person wow is it great:rock: :rock: I did have one more question, where do I find a screen to fit the front of the scoop??

Hey RB04, Like Bill said, We designed the opening so that the stock scoop grill will work,(like mine) or it can be opened up and a larger screen/grill can be used and still keep the factory mounting bosses, or it can be opened up altogether and the mounting points removed with no screen.

idk guys this hood has had my wiener hard....:D i mean eye for a while now its this one or a stock srt10 hood :dontknow: i like both but dont know if it will go with my Bee or not :dontknow:
 
Got mine today too! Man its awesome! Just not sure how the white will look on the truck though.

I have some inside info.

Many folks that have purchased these hoods are in cold climate locations and evidently don't have access to heated paint booths and are waiting for it to warm up to paint or have run tight on funds for paint.

MV is going to offer a cosiderable $$$ for Photo's judged suitable for publication in dealer catalogs.

I have a painter lined up for begining of feb, I am working on the paint scheme right now, I have two versions I am trying to put together before then. I will post up when it is painted and then again when it is installed.:)

My hood is at the painter right now, but with all this snow I won't be taking my truck out of the garage to install the hood for a little while. I will contact you when it's done.

Wow... Penis Envy over the SRT hood.

I just sold my SRT and jumped into a Hemi. I needed more room and something a little more practical. The deals on the '08s made it hard to pass up. I swapped over the SRT wheels and will probably go with the OEM steel hood too at some point. To get pissed because "Hemi" guys are using "your" hood is rediculous.

Kudos to Supercar for lining all of this up and dropping all the extra $$$$ for others to share in his endeavors.
