hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

Aren't you friends with that new guy TOOLBOX 9.5 ....What ever happened to him... He seemed like a cool guy maybe if you were more like him ,,People would remember your name. ...Wish he was back:D

Maybe if you kept the same name, Wesalbert would have remembered your name sooner.:dontknow: :dontknow::D

I came here to find information about the trucks initially (Before and after purchasing my truck). I was searching and joining Forums left and right, posting questions and threads.. I am still dumb founded to the fact that this was the only forum that I received an instant response and another and another and so on... As I lurked I became more and more ADDICTED. Now I'm a a full fledged f'ing ADDICT.... Think I need to STFU before I start to getting sentimental......CUDO's to all the Members on here and a "BIG" thanks to Patrick and Jack for starting the best Forum on the web VTCOA:rock:

Well, now that I dont have a SRT-10, it's all about the friends that I've made in the 2 years that I had one. And I enjoy seeing others mod the hell outta theirs. Keep up the good work everyone!

What does this place mean to you?

Family?

a place to hang and shoot the bull?

learn about SRT10's?

A place to meet friends?

Finding out about the do's and donts of modding?

Like many I came to this site to Learn about my Truck. I asked a lot of the usual questions and found that there were some here that honestly wanted to help and pass on information to save me time, money and headaches.

After a while I found it a place to meet friends and "Shoot the Bull" about things happening in our lives.

Then it became "Family" and excepting that like family we may not always agree but we still care about each other... :)

The people that I have met online and the others that I have had the pleasure of meeting at GTGs have proven that no matter where we are and what background or life experiences we may or may not have had, We are Family...

Lets hear what you think :D

Tony,
This place is a perspective. I started here as a way of learning about my truck. I was chasing the performance dream. That led to my first GTG. There I met folks that have changed my life. Over time some of my online connections back on the board blossomed to friendships I am still anxious to bring to fruition. I have developed an extreme bond with Roy and several others over the last few years that is more akin to brothers. The place transcends the keyboard warrior and has moved into the realm of the surreal. I personally choose to stay out of the volatile threads, as a way of increasing my own enjoyment here. I do gain perspective from them though. I learn things about the world I normally would have missed. I also learn about how some of our members think.

To sum it up, I love this place. Thanks to Jack and Patrick and all the members that make VTCOA great.

Enjoy the ride,
Dale

I originally joined here looking for a SRT hood for my Hemi!! a couple months later my truck was totaled......Then I came across a thread posted by EMT/SRT a.k.a. Travis and here I am now....I have a truck that I haven't seen yet, a couple thousand in parts sitting at a buddies house and almost 1000 post in this forum talking about a truck that I have yet to set eyes on not alone drive!!

But since I've joined, this has by far been the most helpful and overall best forum I've ever been apart of and our two major sponsors here F'ing
I have a guy that I don't even know trying to buy a part for me off of craigslist thats local to him.....two members that are local offered to help me out...I mean how frickin cool is that!

Now I stay around cause i'm looking for my next girlfriend......I have my eye on one right now, they call her stinker but she doesnt stink at all:D

Be careful what you wish for. Stinker is not real choosy. :D

As well, I joined the forum to gain more information about my 10. I never new there were special editions etc. etc. As well, all of the frequent service problems to keep an eye on.
There is a special energy here created by the membership.
In the beginning I was intimidated by the intensity of this place, but soon found the heartbeat, and passion. Hell, I dragged my truck across the United States (well 3 states, 4, if you count NY) to attend the Nationals to meet these people.
I know Tony raced motorcycles, (Duc's no less, a personal favorite), which always encourages one to appreciate life a little bit more.
I also know he has a heart as big as his ass.:p (sorry couldn't help it)
Mike Brady is a man's man. An adventurer, a person not satisfied with second best.
Sickness is, well, the Sickness. Serious, and razor sharp,(when he wanted to be) but mostly just out for a good laugh, (usually at the expense of others) He is great at nicknames. He believed the biggest source of humor is yourself, never to be taken too seriously.
I remember NBT, cheering for our 1st 1000 members, also his courage.
Shawn was a great moderator, for the most part stayed out of the fracas, until it was absolutely necessary, but his judgement was always fair.
I miss John (Silverback). He was always the voice of reason. His background offered such a unique perspective. I wonder why he is gone.
Viper Jeff, a thankless job, but one of the reasons I searched out this board, production numbers, build dates etc.
Eddie, is a straight shooter. No bullshit. What you see is what you get. A true Southern gentleman and Patriot. Thank God he wasn't around when we fought the war, the South would have won.
Wifey, kind, intelligent, and never backs down. Just a bit over the top with conspiracy theories (I know, I know, new world order, Bilderburg, the Fed.....whatever.) My truck's soul mate is in her garage.:p
Kevan, I miss, he had the best DYI's. And was a great organizer. He is also a very complex, and interesting person.
Any time I feel like complaining I think about Matt, and what he went through, or Tiny Giants. Riffster organized a GTG, wow, a miracle for the NE.
NYSTEV, could be our next mayor of NYC.
Begood, another good hearted individual, and a great dad.
Stingray, always working behind the scene.
Doneo, has a bitchin' truck, the envy of any mod freak.
Dom and Julie, part of the family and fabric around here.
Treker, responsible for the 1st Long Island GTG. Only two trucks, had to get a special ruling from Patrick on that one. Mikey was giving us shit.
Gary, was hard working, I don't think he wanted things to turn out the way they did.
I still love Sanchoba's stripes.......
Roy, you are always there, generous and kind. A true friend.
Tim, your passion and spirit is only surpassed by your ability to express yourself so eloquently. You do not suffer fools easily. I am always thinking about you. (not in a gay way)
Viper Girl, you have a nice ass, you should post up more.
Jake, your a good egg.
I miss Roz, don't know what happened to him. Loved his cat pics.
Great to see our membership includes many trucks across the pond, people who share our passion. (insanity).
I'm encouraged by the new members who have found us, and discovered it wasn't always about the trucks.
I'm glad we're all still here. Reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated.:p
That's what the VTCOA means to me..............and more.
