I have been considering buying an extended warranty on my 05 RC. What have been your experiences with getting warranty work done on your trucks. I have had warranty work performed on many of my past vehicles most of which had some sort of minor mods such as headers, exhaust, performance chips (removed before service), springs, CAI and so on. Nothing major just minor performance stuff. I was told by my local Service Mgr that if ANYTHING is changed from FACTORY the warranty is VOID. Just trying to get a feel for what is the NORM I guess.:dontknow: Thanks for any info.

10 seconds or 10 feet what ever comes first. there your covered.

only get a chrysler factory warranty and buy the good one.

Find a good dealer and you wont have any problems...my dealer also does a lot of high performance work and covers everything i've ever had a problem with and the service manager even stated to me that anything short of a supercharger or nitrous would not void the warranty.:D Soooo that means no ROE or NOS for my truck... And yes, i bought the extended warranty too.

According to federal law a dealer can not refuse warranty unless they can prove the mod caused the failure..that said, many dealers have no idea how to fix the vehicles much less know anything about laws.

My dealer has installed most of my mods. My warranty is still good. Look for a dealer that wants your business and start modding away.;)
