Miraculously, the driver of the '08 Dodge Ram in the video above escaped unharmed, along with his ten-year-old son. Apparently, the driver had forgotten about the height of his trailer when pulling into the drive-thru station at his Dallas-area bank. Disaster quickly ensues. Fortunately, no other cars were having transactions proccessed at the time. The bank's going to remain open. The drive-thru area's going to be out of commission for a bit, though.

That guy needs to thank his lucky stars for his safety and the fact that no one else was sitting there at any of the windows. Imagine what would have happened at 5:30 PM on a payday Friday...

Some pretty crampy cover. It was shouldn't fell in that easy.

No steel in the columns? Masonry should have been encapsulating steel columns for a structure like that.

Bet the contractor, architect, and engineers will be spoken to.

Yep, somebody's fanny is in deep do do. No structural ties that I can see with the columns, roof or the driveway slab. I hope they didn't think rebar and tie wire would do the trick -- yes a steel skeleton is needed to make up the strucutral frame assembly.
