Now that I have tapped my windsheild washer tank, made the bracket for the pump, and installed the pump its time for phase 3 of the install. The install of the controller for the water/meth injection. I'm using Snow Performance Stage 3 controller. It is there most versatile and most accurate controller. It a progressive controller that uses both rpms and psi information to determine how much meth to inject at any given rpm and psi range. I'm taking a lot longer to install this kit because I'm really anal about where and how things look, and I really want to make sure that everything is well thought out before committing and installing. The controller has an LCD display and looks pretty trick so I decided to install it in the cubby under the a/c controls. I made a card board template with all of the measurements of what the finished product of how its going to look. Tomorrow I transer the template over to black ABS plastic and then start wiring the unit. Here are some sneak peaks of the project.

Very nice clean finished work! Two thumbs up!

One quick question about the ROE meth kit, does it gradually spray or only spray on WOT?

Whats the Snow meth kit worth aprox.??

Excellent job on your install.:)

I don't think the Roe kit is a progressive system, but I maybe wrong. I'm sure that someone will correct me if I am. The Roe kit activates with RPM sort of like a window switch. Once you reach the preset RPM it activates the pump at 100% which could harm your engine if your not at WOT (partial throttle). You could wash out your motor like Prirateman did in extreme cirmstances if using a big nozzle(s), but in his case I think it was a pump malfunction it never turned off. The kit that I have works with both boost and rpm. It refferences both to activate the pump progressively for example starting at 10% and ramping to 100% as the rpm and boost increase. If your on partial throttle it will only at a percentage for example 45% rather than just 100% with the Roe. Hope this clears thing up I don't know if I explained it well enough for you to understand.

If your going to buy a brand new kit from Snow the kit runs close to $700 for everything tank, pump, controller, and all install hardware. In my case I knew what I wanted and needed for my install. I purchased what I needed. I got a used pump with nozzle and fitting from ebay at a good price and then just purchased the controller itself with some other hardware that I needed from Snow. All in all I think I ended up saving about $200-$225.

The Roe uses both boost and injector pulse..the spray is adjustable..

Is it a progressive system? and does it use boost and injector pulse simultaneously or is it one or the other?

I understand what ya saying,Thanks,So IF the ROE meth kits isn't a progressive system could I buy just the Snow controller and run it with my stuff I already have? Whats just the controller worth?

Copied from Roe's web site...

We’re now making available our “Universalâ€￾ Water / Methanol Injection kit for use on all Paxton SC or turbo powered Ram SRT-10’s. We’ve taken our standard Water / Methanol kit (used in Roe Supercharged applications) and made a few controller and wiring changes so those without a VEC could utilize the system. The universal system is boost activated and progressively controlled based on RPM and engine load. When activated, the air fuel ratio curve follows the same path as before, but with a half point richer air / fuel ratio. This can easily be adjusted up or down to meet your engine’s needs, where you may need it richer or leaner. Adjustment to the air / fuel ratio is made by changing the pump pressure or nozzle size. No special tools or computer programming required. The combination of the richer AFR and cooler air temperature charge quenches spark knock and can allow you to either add additional boost or increase spark advance, both resulting in more power! If you don’t plan to increase boost or ignition timing, use the system to compensate for a lean fuel mixture or simply as a safety device / cool air performance enhancer for hot days. An LED lighted switch and dash mount LED light confirm when the system is powered and activating. The system comes with a one year warranty and includes complete installation instruction.

Yes, the controller will work with any 12v pump. The controller itself was $389.00
