Water/meth tune

Hey guys quick little question haha just curious if it would be bad if I ran a high octane water/meth tune but didn't have a meth kit installed

i would say yes it is very possible that it could lead to damage under the right circumstances. It will primarily have advanced ignition timing that will cause detonation without the additional cooling and octane that meth/water provides.

Get with your tuner first! If i run my meth tune with no meth, my engine will run very lean and hurt something. You can tell with your widebands if you are too lean. However, your timing still may be too high. Higher octane + meth resist detonation. And that will hurt your engine in as little as one pull if it's detonating bad enough.
