ok I just got water wetter and I want to make sure how much should I pour it in cooling system? and am I should pour it in radiator cap or cooling system basket?
Odds are you will not be able to put it in the radiator, but that would be best. Maybe you can take the radiator cap off, siphone enough water out to get it all in there, that would be best.
Personally I would remove the 12 oz of antifreeze from the radiator, (you can get it by draining from the petcock, just need a funnel and container to recover it) then fill it with the water wetter. Just put the fluid removed into the overflow container...then you should be good to go.
are you having overheating problems? All water wetter does is remove the water tension property of water, so it ca flow into the tiny crevices easier. But the factory radiator fluid does that also.
no i dont have any problem with overheating. my heat temp is at 195-200 which is normal but i would like to add some more cooling in system like water wetter
I added four bottles of water wetter with the 172 T-Stat. It seems to run cooler. I need some more driving time and higher temps here in Michigan to really see if there is a substantial benefit.
