Water Wetter

I am going to install new Therm housing, hard pipes and 172 deg thermostat from JMB. Since I will be filling it with new coolant I was wondering if anyone has used water wetter or a similar product and what the results were???

No reason not to, several have including me. I can't tell that it made a huge a lot of difference, but it sure hasn't hurt anything either.

There was some concern about it gumming up, but I don't know first hand.

I added the water wetter when I was doing the drain, flush and refill. I only notice a little different is that before it was at 200 temp then after do the drain, flush and refill plus add the water wetter and it went down to around190-195.

I have used it and it lowered my operating temps about 3-4 degrees.

i use water wetter in my racecar, but with NO coolant/antifreeze. It doesn't really work mixed with coolant but it works great in plain water. however, for storage you need antifreeze so in a street car it's not very practical unless you refill the radiator every day.
