Well here goes. I am going to show just how "enlightened" I really am LOL.
Seriously though, it's funny how we can convince ourselves that an entire group of people is out to get us. Sure, we see a couple of hundred or even a couple of thousand Muslims out celebrating in the streets when one they attack a US Embassy or warship or even civilian targets. But this is out of a country of millions. Equating this to every Muslim wishing for this is like saying that every black person in the US wanted whitey dead when the LA riots went down. Don't you think that what was broadcast to the rest of the world made it look like every black person in the country was involved? The other thing to keep in mind is that some of these people were surely out there because they were forced to by the local "authority" whomever that might be. Plus, let's not forget that all that most of these people know about the US is when we drop a bomb somewhere within their borders.
Saying that every Muslim is a hate mongering terrorist is no different than saying that every Mexican is sitting around scheming how to get in the US. Or that every biker is nothing more than a meth fueled psychopath. Or that every Catholic priest wants nothing more than to get into the shorts of the new alter boy. It is racism or more accuratley bigotism (which may very well be a new word I coined), plain and simple.
Now, I will tell a racist joke, in fact I love them. But it really can be about any race or religion or group of people, just as long as it is funny. I don't care if people are telling jokes about whites, Irish, bikers, like I said, just make sure it's funny hehe. I really don't consider myself racist, as the old saying goes, I hate everyone equally. I have had Brothers that were of Mexican descent, in fact my closest Brother ever (RIP Diablo) was "Indian". LOL! Sure you were Brother, from the Tijuana tribe hehehehe. But the funny thing was, he was always wearing this "white power" tshirt that I bought him hehehehehe. But I digress.
I just think we need to realize who our enemies are. They are not the poor people forced to live in this hellholes. They are governments and "quasi-governments". They are terrorist groups. 95% or more of the folks in these places are neither. They are just trying to eke out a living. And I really do feel compassion for them.
And as far as Fred Phelps and his family of inbred homophobes is concerned, he is nothing. He has garnered way too much publicity for the insignifigant POS that he is. I have taken part in rides with the Patriot Guard to shield the families of the fallen from these pathetic sheep.
Don't doubt for one second that I love my country or that I would shed my blood for my country.
