Hi Everyone,
We got the programming done for the devices and are now able to ship orders.
If you have any questions, let me know.
These are the same devices the other guys have, but with our programming, primarily based on years of experience tuning with our VEC3.
For what it's worth, a properly tuned VEC3, flash or PCM all yields the same HP.
The handheld programmer is just a nice option as you can just plug in, load up and go.

Raise the Rev Limiter?
Speedo Caliber Adjust?
Change Temperature at which cooling fan comes on?

Some more questions...

The program that you developed for this PCM, what are the mods considerations? Meaning, when you developed the program parameters, did you do it for a completely stock truck or did you take any of the below mods in consideration and tune for them specifically? Maybe you offer different tuned parameter packages that can be loaded onto the PCM based on our mods????

Cat Back Exhaust?
Catless Mid Pipes?
High Flow Cats?
Headers?
No Headers?
CAI?
Completely Stock?

Lastly, when I go to place my order with you, what information about my truck do you need to know?

Ha! I am full of these today...

So lets say I buy the PCM today, and next year I buy headers for my truck. That will probably change the tune parameters. Can I send the PCM back to you for an updated program that would take headers into consideration? If so, how much would that cost?

Or, even better, maybe the two different tunes you load into the PCM now before I receive it would have a tune for a set-up with headers and a tune for a set-up on stock manifolds????

Am I complicating things here????

SCT released the programmer and software recently.
Today, the main thing it can do is alter the fuel and ignition curves to whatever you program in.
The fan is not activated earlier yet.
The rev limiter is raised (mainly of benefit to the automatic trucks).
The torque management is disabled (for the auto's again).
No change in speedo calibration (possibly in the future, but not today).
The basic plan of SCT is to allow the main things needed first, then add the types of features they offer for other brands (Ford) as they can over the next year.
For tuning, we did the tuning with cold air intakes and cat-backs.
For a header program, we add a little more fuel above 4,000 RPM where the headers start to make a larger difference.
When an order is placed, we try to get as much information as possible.
You do not have to send the flash device back for changes (free). There's a program available from SCT that allows you to upload programs into the box, which we provide via e-mail (free).
