I did some runs this weekend at the track. Prep was horrible. I was expecting better prep b/c it was a decent sized diesel truck event planned. Unfortunaly my best run was only a [email protected]. No new best ET but new best trap speed. I spun through all of 1st and most to all of 2nd every run. Running Nitto 420s @ 18psi. I will be so glad to have some DRs! I was beat by my buddies 10 second blown 408 dakota and his buddies 10 second blown and nos camaro. I did however kill a cummins, duramax, and some mix matched noisy POS checvy truck. When I get home tonight after work I will post a vid of all runs for comments ;) In the process of possibly gettin some DR's off another member here if all goes well. Good news is even though the 10 wasnt the fastest truck there, it had the most attention while parked.

Your trap speed definitely shows a faster e/t in the truck. I can't wait to see what you run with some traction.

Yeh me too. I was gonna do 4.88s. Then after thinking about it longer, and knowing this track's reputation for a lack of prep, I decided I would benifit more from DRs. Hope that will jump my trap speed even more and MAYBE bet a mid 12 :D ......maybe

Glad to hear you had a good time. Sucks that the track was poorly prepped, but killing diesels is always fun. :D Good call on the DR's instead of 4.88's too.

Most issues were traction.

and of course 1st Finish 1.4357 :D

Most runs were very similar. I have begun shifting a little later which I believe accounts for the higher trap.

I will also say I have not removed sway bar. I was going to and forgot till 1030 pm the night before track day. It was 28 out and I wasn't feeling it after prepping a 13lb turkey, splitting pecan and hickory to grill it, grilling it, and gettin the inlaws gone.

Lol, I wouldn't have either after all that? Is it Thanksgiving again already? Lmfao
Yeah get your 60ft below 2.0 and you'll be close to the 12 second club bud :)

Nah man. I was gonna grill 2 chickens bc the family was all comin over, unknowing to them they were coming over to find out they were gonna be grandparents. I remebered I had a turkey in the deep freeze so I split it in half and smoked her up.
And on the 60' note. I have pulled 1.90s in the past on a good day. But, usually screw up in driver error on those runs b/c the launch felt so good.

The bold item is your only problem that I see. DRs will put you solidly in the 12s. Short shift the 3-4 shift, about 5400 to 5600. I picked that up from Trainman, the fastest N/A driver can't be wrong. :chain:

I cut nearly a full tenth off of my 60ft after front sway bar removal, that combined with DRs should make for one heck of a launch, and none of this :burnout:

Watch this launch! Big Bertha I believe may have yanked the wheels in a QC ;)
On a 1.72 60ft

That's a great trap speed, get you some 28" tall slicks and launch like this...

And mid 12's are all yours:rock: well if you launch that hard and grab every gear it could even be quicker than that

Thanks for the help guys. I hope to have some 29.5's veeeeeeery soon. Then maybe after I get use to those I will do 4.56s

Nothing fancy as far as videos are concerned. I just linked all the videos in order and posted it as on. Gotta hate the sound of tire squeal!

Its a several year old Sony Handy cam. Got it on ebay about 4 yrs ago used.

Works great!! I've tried a few cheapos that produce crappy results even with high megapixel claims :(
Does seem some older ones were better for some reason. Or just easier to her good footage?
You on my pulley list yet bro?
