Weird i thought our trucks come with 2 starter bolts!

Had to pull my engine out of my rc today,seems #4 is starting to fall apart,while my mechanic was pulling the engine he stopped with a puzzled look on his face he says.....one starter bolt eh,wheres the other one?,oh it looks like it fell out,go figure:mad: ,classic to say the least.

He was able to pull the engine in 5.5 hrs,hes never pulled a viper engine before but it wasnt too hard to say the least even with a paxton on it.

Needless to say the engine will be forged,looking for 1000hp at the wheels:marchmellow: .:slug:

Should have it to the machine shop in miami later this week.

Thanks fstjack and stinker for all the info and thanks to krc performance for hooking me up with the machine shop.

Eh, not bad. I pulled mine by myself in about five hours w/o a lift, but in all fairness the intake and one exhaust manifold were already off.

Good luck with your build, bud.;)

yea that intake was a bitch took bout an hour,most of the time spent on one bolt,lol
 
Now Clint, i know your gonna think I'm pullin your leg, but I think I found your starter bolt in my driveway a day or so after the GTG:rock: :dontknow: :rock:

i wouldnt be surprised ,can u send it back i still need it when my professional reinstalls my engine!:marchmellow: :marchmellow: :marchmellow: :marchmellow:

mine pulled a bit of thread, so it was really friggin fun, lol.:marchmellow:
 
Real sorry to hear about this Clint... You have gone through too much bs with this project already. I am sure in the end it will all work out...

it was gonna be forged reguardless this fall,seems like abit sooner than i expected but sometimes thats just how life is,fortunately it didnt breakdown completely,i always wanted to drive a 1000hp vehicle:) :marchmellow: :marchmellow: :marchmellow: :marchmellow:

was #4 issue due to install or from previous owner? :dontknow:

Clint, why would the bolt be COVERED in silicone ?????

no,but the last few weeks i had to change #4 plug 3 times ,something smacked it shut at high rpms
