Weird Vibration/Drone around 2,000rpm

It looks like I lost at least 2 quarts of oil. . . . I hope there isn't any engine damage . . .

Engine should be fine! there is about 8 quarts in the pan when it is full. Use a good quality oil filter ! you get what you pay for!:D

Just heard from the garage, cracked oil filter! never heard of that before reading this thread, who would have thought.

Tony is sending me a Viper filter, I never want to see 2-3 quarts of oil under my truck again!

I finally getting the oil cooler lines too.

Just reading through this thread and some others. Got my oil changed today at the dealership and they said I have an oil leak coming from the oil cooler lines. From what I've read around the site that seems to happen on these trucks. Any ideas as to how much to replace them or what all is involved?

Yeah I looked at his stainless steel lines, price doesn't seem bad and I'm sure the Mopar OEM lines are probably an arm and a leg and then some, so I'll let the Viper tech check out my leak Wed morning and go from there, but if the culprit is leaky lines, then I'm going the way of Tony.

Was the first thing I replaced. Nothing like low reading dipstick all of a sudden to say **** this **** to! :D

Plus, someones 10 got flamed up from the oil cooler lines leaking on the exhaust manifold after he parked from a drive if I'm not mistaken. Lost the whole thing and then some!
The stock ones are really PEESAYS OF SHEET!

damn well now I'm very glad I ordered the lines.

not sure if you guys have figured this out yet,It is the oil bypass valve,Change to an 06 one peice valve and this will cure it.(change to a good brand filter as well)I use a K&N guaranteed fix.
