Can't believe this, we are in the middle of a huge thunderstorm. That hardly ever happens around here, and never in the summer. Just hope that it cools it off some, the mercury was hovering around 113 in the shade before this downpour.

Usually doesn't rain a drop here between May and October. This was a real downpour today, even had tornado warnings.

I'm north of San Diego, in the Inland Empire.

They do, we don't. About an hour north of there, and about 40 degrees north of there on the thermometer.

Sure feels like it in the summer lol. Matter of fact there are fires burning all around us now from the lightning. hmmmmmm

But it's hard to beat once fall hits and into winter. Something about those 75 degree days in January maybe.

Yea, we've had flash flood warnings all afternoon, today finally got up to 114, they say tomorrow will be around 115, with all the humidity from the rain today, it's gonna be a bad day tomorrow. Glad I'm working from home tom orrow, can stay in under the air conditioning.

What percent humidity are they forecasting? As dry as it usually is out there I'd assume that a lot of it has already dried up or sunk into the ground. Just wondering how high they predict the humidity to be. I just can't imagine 115 and high humidity. It's gonna be a real steam bath.

Just looked at Phoenix weather. 27% Humidity. That's not too bad. And that should dry off some as the temps come up.
