The fifth leg of the 2010 World Championship tour will take place for the first time in New York over the Hudson River at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Two years in development, the Red Bull Air Race New York will be a highlight race in 2010, and will bring eye-level racing action seen across the globe to one of the world’s finest cities.

I'v always wanted to see one of those races. Not gonna go to NY though.

they had an air race just north of Dallas a few years back.

awesome planes. Rare Bear & other top names was there.

lookin at 450+ m.p.h & 200 m.p.h. is like day & night

would love to go to Reno once:party:
 
ohhhh, sound like i should grab the boat and go! got to get the new video camera thou, the camera stinks for recording vids...

I'm getting a bad rap. :p PS Wifey, if you and the Yettie get out this way I will give a personal tour of any jobsite and sewage plant you desire. What fun!!!
 
Interesting..
Im doing a design for the Redbull Flugtag event in Philly..This is where you build something that might be able to fly and push it off a ramp into the water..I did 2 other events a couple years back..built a 34ft long giant paper airplane for the NY event in 04 I think..and a giant Razor cell phone for Baltimore in 06..This year its one of 3 ideas..havent decided yet..they get quite a few entries, and only choose about 30..there were about 75,000 people in Baltimore..it was a blast...

That was from Baltimore, I think..The guy who built that had the idea for the original, and was the pilot..he turned out to be an ass. I built the original plane which was way bigger..
The event in philly this year will be pretty cool...sending in my design this weekend, so hopefully I get in..should know in a couple weeks..
