Well I eventually went for it

I broke down the other day when I couldnt find My reading glasses So I went out and got LASIK eye corrective surgery on Saturday:rock:

My wife had it fifteen years ago and it worked beautifully. She is about to have it redone...she used to wake up in the morning feeling for her glasses with her hands...she tossed the glasses a week after the surgery.

It was about $8k then...bet the price has changed...

It was $3800 for both eyes with lifetime corrective touch ups, its like looking through a dirty window right now but i can read:rock: :rock: :rock:

I had the non-laser surgery 14 yrs ago......laser was still being tested....still no glasses for far away but I do need reading glasses now...........Prof you sure your wife's was laser?....

Reading is great, but distance is a bit foggy, apparently this is normal:dontknow: I had Mono Lasik, one eye is long sighted and one for reading. Apparently the brain makes the adjustment:dontknow: Thats the part Im worried about

Yup, I was a hospital administrator and one of our ophthalmologists was one of the first to have the proceedure.
