went 13.9

went to the track yesterday for the first time with the new motor on my first pass it went up in smoke for about 200ft then i was feathering it off the line and got it in the 13.9 at 98mph still spinning so i figure with some drag slick,s and cal-trac bar, and a good tune other the the 1 i have in it now i should get in to the 12,s

I ran a 13.9 on my first pass after the motor was installed best i got first time out was 13.4 with my one wheel peel. Takes time.

For me 14 seconds is the norm and very comfortable...

had the heads p/p 2.02 and 1.6 values srt/8 6.1 spring,s heads milled .10 comp 268 cam shorty headers and a shity tune by krc and a 100 shot of nitrous i,m going back sat. with the 150 shot and having dyno Steve from rdp do my new tune when i do the 392 short block in the spring then i should be in the 11,s

Two second reduction is huge if you achieve it...

For me 14 seconds is the norm and very comfortable...

i used to drag when i was younger and was good on the lights my first pass was a .065 but smoked them off the line

With that kinda work you should be able to get past 13.9 easy on streets (i would think from past experience), do ya have traction bars or anything, do you heat the tires up at all?
