So I get home from work and the Mrs. ask if we could go to the Ford dealer where her brother is working. Sure. So we det there and start looking and guess what she loves...... Rouch Stage 3 F150. HAHAHA I couldn't beleive it. But I / she picked out the F-150 King Ranch. Does anyone here have one? Pros/Cons Yeah besides the fact that its a Furd.

the engine is waaaaaaaaaaay behind everybody else, but it does have the best towing capabilty.

i agree...although never been a ford fan, the king ranches are beautiful trucks....especially the new ones....

but the dodge's are incredibly smooth...and look great, IMO...that' gets my vote :)

The leather on the KR edition looks like its 50 years old in about a year and a half. Does not hold up well and requires lots of maint.....worked at Ford as a service advisor for 2 years. Any more questions hit me up.

What are you going to do with it? Commuting, Its fine...I wouldnt tow anything significant with it on a regular basis.

i like the KR they look pretty clean but what about a harley davidson? some of them are Supercharged:dontknow:

Only real problem is that they are slow and still get piss poor gas mileage. And yes, the leather does not hold up well at all. Run your fingernal over it and you will see exactly what I mean.

The KR is a beautiful truck but their motors suck, if Im payin that much for a truck, atleast I want to be able to spin some tire from time to time, and with that 5.4, it aint happenin..

Now Markus, you know most of us would buy an 09 Ram, they drive great, the exhaust tips look super sticking thru the bumper and the Hemi is hard to beat BUT who will honor the warranty a year from now???

My buddy has a King Ranch and I have riden in it several times. He has the baseball leather in there that shows all the scratches which I think is part of the them. It rides nice. My buddy does not tow with his truck. It does not give me the same feeling though as when I sat in the 09 Ram. The interior of the ram and overall feel really turned me on. 1 of my favorite features of the ram I sat in was it had a raised up ram head on the center console. It looked tough as hell!!!

Quick review... King Ranch is nice and something I would expect my dad to drive. Dodge Ram gives me wood :D

I drove Ford trucks from 1976 to 2001...owned 20+ during that time and never had a problem with any of them.....but that 2009 Ram cant be beat...best lookin & driving truck now or ever IMO.....but the Ford is nice..

one thing to consider when buying a KR...replacement cost of the seats. my brother had an 06' F-350 powerstroke KR with 50,xxx miles. got stolen. they stole all the seats and the head unit (radio). nothing else. replacement cost was so much for the seats alone.... they totaled the truck out. NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER to the truck. only took the stated interior pieces!

Go for the Harley f150 they hold their value better than the KR. I have had a few fords and my dodge has had better service (In dealer) as well as fewer problems than my fords. Go drive every pick up on the market and choose the one you like

I for sure would go with the 09 Ram,I seen a yellow sport the other day and it looked killer!!
I also seen a somes vids with the 09 Ram against the Ford,Chevy and a BMW and it beat them ALL!! staraight line and a little road course!

SO the seats don't hold up? The truck is for the MRS. Driving to and from work hauling the boys around and pulling the boat to the water. But from the sounds of it the seats and a 10 and 8 year old ....... doesn't sound like they would mix.
