WENT ILLEGAL STREET RACING

WEll I could not sit around the house anymore, so i jump in my truck and start cruising..I am a light and a car pulls up next to me and gives me a rev, so I know its on. Although I know I should not since there is a school zone about 80 ft ahead and kids everywhere.....But SCREWIT light turns green and he gets the jump on me but by the time we get to the school zone we are neck and neck...Now I know I was Going real fast because as I passed this little kid on the sidewalk , The tailwind off my truck just ripped all of her school work right out of her hands. When I look back ahead I see the next light is red, I then look at the guy in the car and he smiles and pulls another foot, So I say to my self SCREW IT and give the truck everything its got. WE both blow through the light, Thank god no other cars were coming. But now there is cars up ahead of us. We slow down and give each other the thumbs up and start talking And he says he can beat me on the solom course , I say no way, He says yea way . Well the cars infront of us was spaced out perfect when we tore through them . You should have seen the look on one ladys face as a KIA and truck pass them

As long as companies and people build street rods there will be street racing.

I agree but people are entitled to their opinions. I don't advocate street racing and have been known to get on my pedestal when discussing it. I probably need to stop doing that. Judge not lest ye be judged yourself, right? But, dude, you can't post a freaking video of a street race where other traffic is visible. That's just stupid and you're going to get slammed for it. I've seen your videos and at least there wasn't other traffic in the area. It stil doesn't make it right, though.

I agree with you 100%, so what now we not suspose to post race vids unless we are at the track? I like how half of them have a mod list half page long, but they don't use there truck for speed...

Not quite sure how you get that this was satire (for better or worse), yet think there's something in it that honestly speaks about who he is. If he's exposing anything, it's the absurd sanctimonious nature some forum members have about street racing. Pointing this out hardly constitutes having a chip on one's shoulder, IMHO.

There is absolutely no question in my mind that racing is dangerous (if it weren't, you might as well go bowling for your adrenaline rush), and that racing in uncontrolled conditions is far more so. This fact is so obvious, yet some members honestly believe that they're doing some kind of obligatory public service by flaming or frowning out loud about it.

Talking about street racing on this forum seems to be tantemount to coming out in the middle of an Aryan Nations convention.

This is true, but there are people who dont consider the unknowns, conditions may change on the road at any given moment. By the time you want to react to a change in traffic, for example, you may already be at 120mph and its already too late. I know it sucks you really can't take advantage of the power and driving experience our trucks give us all the time, but sometimes its better to savor the moments we can do it safely rather than regret 10 seconds of pleaseure turned into a nightmare.

thats crazy the same thing happend to me when i was leaving the church parking lottt , we were neck and neck when we went by the church the wind from the fly by blew up alll the ladies dresses all i could see was smiles:rock: :burnout: that was some funny stuff

some people on here like to jump others for doing and being all self righteous and sh*t, but when there friends do it they look the other way.

we even had a member say his truck handles like crap at high speeds and needs a better handling kit and is always the first person to jump someone for high speed driving or racing.

dont forget you hit the train horn at the same time and used the people as cones for a road course race as you hit the nitrous doing 140 through the apex of turn one

you must be shitting me! do this kind of stuff in an empty industrial park at night or on the race track, not near schools. Play with your own life, not with others.

Not intended as a joke jake, if this happened in front of my daughter's school
in a couple years, the driver would be trouble. that's all I wanted to write.
