What a weekend

My Niece was getting married Saturday at 5:00 PM in Newport News Va. I've got a 10.05 AM flight out of Atlanta. Me and the GF are dropping off the dogs at the vet at 0800 and they are slow as hell. An hour drive to the airport when we finally leave the vet at 0820. My trucks at her house and I'm pushing 90 mph in her Jeep GC and it don't like it. Make the park-and-ride at 0900. Security and bags checked, we make to the gate and they are boarding. Nice flight to Newport News Williamsburg. 1300 hrs. rent a Ford Edge. It's slow of the start but peppy if you stuff your foot in it. Nice ride but handles like crap. Drive to my sisters for face time. Brother-in-law still ain't got that Sunbeam Tiger together. Leave and check in at the Omni Hotel. Do the wedding and reception and the day ends. Next day, we have a flight out at 1:00 PM. We are up early. I run for Charbucks fraps and banna nut bread while the GF does her morning stuff. A little private time to thrash the "Edge". We head to the beach for a few hours then back to the airport. I forgot to fill the rental while pulling into the airport so back out we go. After the fill up, we're in the turn lane at the airport sign and my GF says isn't that a truck like yours in the other lane. I see a Silver SRT QC in the right lane heading north on Jefferson Ave at noon. Made my weekend. Back to Atlanta, dinner, shopping, and home.

cool.. so far i've seen three SRT-10's in my area.. all once each then another
twice..
you would be suprised how ignorant people are that own this truck..
hell.. guy at my gym drives a 05 RC and i left a note to come to the site
and introduce himself.. nothin happend yet.. kinda makes me pissed but
atleast i can say i tried..

Out of all the people i've met only one actually had any idea about the truck. I met one guy and he didn't have a clue about his truck and another wouldn't even look at me.. i even waved at him!! He was driving a 05 CE and it looked like it came out of the garage once a month in the summer.

There ya go! point proven.. hell.. i get more waves from Viper cars!!!!
driving down I-28 i've seen about three vipers.. all three waved at me and i
gave them a thumbs up! :rock:

I ran into a guy with a yellow QC and talked a lot about the trucks. Cool guy. Told him about the site. But I don't think he is into the forums thing. Then I said this isn't any regular forum:rock:
