What are the 3 cables?

There are 3 cables on the top of the engine (on QC's). I think the bottom one is the kick-down and one of them is the throttle. But what is the 3rd? One of mine (Top right as you look at it) is fairly slack. I'm trying to figure out what it is and if I need to tighten it up.

cruise control. the kickdown cable is the adjustable one with the white clip on it. the slack one is the cruise conrtol. it will tighten up when needed.

My 04 RC only have 2 cables? Does that means 05's and 06's have 3 cables but 04's have only 2?

Flyinglow, the third cable is cruise control, dont tighten it up.

You only have 2 because you have a RC. We have automatics.

Scott, mine has alot of slack as well. I have always wondered about the need to have adjusted or not.
