well ya i know its gonna be alote more than 1000 dollars to do so but i should be going to the track in a couple weeks i figured id throw a grand at the truck for fun. im thinking about 700 horses should get me close to the 11s if it hooks good
you don't need 700hp, i went 12.34@110 with slicks and whats in my sig, Trainman has gone 12.02 with a little more than i have, and Bigred460 has gone 12.28 with pretty much just stripping everything outta his pickup.

do u guys think its dangerous to grind down your calipers to fit the 16 inch wheels for the slicks
with the 60ft times trainman has pulled on the new M&H DR's i'm not sure its worth it unless you plan on big power, is your truck an 04 or 05?

Very true.

It all depends on what you wanna end up with:dontknow: Are you just gonna stick with bolt ons? Do you plan on going FI... blower, turbo, spray??

im thinking i want to supercharge it and try and make it lose some weight i know i could get a quick 30 pounds if i lay off the cheeseburgers lol

if you plan on FI then go for the 16" slicks, took me about 10 hours to grind my calipers. I tend to goof off and drink way too much beer while i'm working though:D

Edit, your clutch will be gone shortly after racing with the slicks so plan on changing that too
