I am currently retired...not by choice. I had climbed to the top of the corporate ladder. It's a long fall from up there. I was in the Financial Services Industry for 20 years. Started as a teller making $4.50 an hour worked up to a District Manager, opened my own business, sold it, took a job as a VP, then promoted to COO, then knocked off the ladder by a greedy SOB that owed me almost $300,000 in bonus. I built his business from near bankruptcy to 6 million a year in cash flow and he screws me over $300k! Greed is very ugly.
Anyway, currently trying to decide to take another job (have an interview tomorrow that is sure to lead to a job offer) or to do my own business again. I really want to do my own thing but my wife wants me to take the stable job. Guess it will come down to how much they offer me. The business I have decided on after much debate is to buy gold and other precious metals and sell to a smelter for 100% profit. Decisions, decisions.
