And that is all. Going this Friday just curious what you guys are launching at. Don't know how sticky those tracks are, never raced yet. And this will be with street tires. Any other tips will be appreciated. :burnout:

Thanks man I'll try it out!! Was goingto try around 2000 rpm slow off the clutch and rolling into full throttle. Like I said don't know why to expect for traction.

around 3500 slipping the clutch...and feeding more gas....

almost no wheelspin on launch with street tires... i've run 1.9's on streets...

thats the fastest way off the line and the quickest way to burn up the clutch.
dont take me the wrong way I launch like that too but it will burn it up if done too much.

launch at about 2500 rpm at half throttle! Just enough to rotate the tires a couple of times . Then as the tires start to grab squeeze the throttle to full! At 5600 leave foot planted on throttle and get second! :). Riding the clutch at all will fry it!! You will think the truck is spinning and you will have trouble getting home after!

around 1800. Let clutch out then to the floor. Keep floored while grazing clutch and pullin gears. Shift at 5500. But you have to be quick and have your timing just right.

Not joking...rev limit is around 5800.
I can show you better then tell you...and yes i do bracket race.
