Alright I have my SRT 10 that I am gonna build to just get about 11. or 10.9 Co6 comp, but my future project just listen before you laugh, when I get my wife her charger ( rather get a challenger but she can't drive stick so I'm goin with the charger, more money for my toys) she has a pt cruiser Yes a 6.1l hemi or 392. Now I have seen bugs with 350 and bigger if they can do it so can I. Now my question also about transmissions there is enough room for engine trans 1seat and all caged but the drive shat will only be like 6 to maybe 12 inches max, is this doable? I know it will be alot of work but stock weight is 2200lbs you can't beat that and it looks better than a bug:p :p :p
So am I retarded or can you guys also vision a 6sec pt crusier.;) ;) ;) Give me some feedback. When all said and done I wanted to build a 3 window coupe but those are far and few in between for under ten grand then it has no rolling chasis or engine and trans so I figured the cost will actually be cheaper with the PT pus how many people have you seen with a pt drag car:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: haven't seen any around here but I am sure someone beat me to it but I will beat them in the END:burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:
 
I said there would be one, The blower don't impress me I want to build full motor then prob twin turbos, My goal is 6sec and at 1800lbs in theory I have to produce 1100hp will get me in 6 secs. I am a Turbo man been working with em for more than half my life that is why I am leaning towards 392 525hp/542tq I know with twins I definately can get 1100 horse but what trans do you suggest automatic in this one

A Powerglide, would not even consider anything else!!! (seriously)

Thanks, now what about the drive shaft, I know the small ones can handle it on the machines I work on but they way a ton when there so small is that gonna be the same problem or no wouldn't a drive shaft that short have to be about 4" in diameter to handle the torque? I am not a tranny man mainly engines and everything else trannies I out source so anymore Info would be greatly appriciated.:burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:
