What do you see from your window at work?

Since I am forced to drive all over the island and make stops at hotels and pool decks............these are my views. In the last pic.......if you look real close, you can see my black hot rod!! Pics were taken with my cell phone.

If I look to the West, I see construction taking place for what will become the final assembly line for the new P8-A (Sub Hunter) 737 military plane.

Sorry, no cameras are allowed, so you will just have to take my word on this one.

Ahhh yes, the follow-on to the P-3 that I used to fly on!! Sneak me a shot with your camera phone!

Seriously, I would LOVE to see pics of that bad boy!! Even though the role of the "Sub-Hunter" has greatly diminished over the last several years, this was long time coming!


And, all of my windows look into hallways, and they are all covered with mini-blinds... and I like it that way!!

Hmmm.... I bet that puppy has a Loooooong range! Too bad, being stuck in a P-3 for 12+ hours was long enough!!!! I always said, "If they ever put a refueling probe on one of these bastards, I QUIT!!" And I meant it! Never had to worry about it, but the crews in these beasts just might!

He never had to worry about it. The FE always had a rack on the P-3. If you were in the rack, he could kick you out! I saw some third-class Petty Officers kick Commanders out of the rack! SOF is always first!!!

I look out my office window 2 or 3 days a week, and watch alot of women going into the Pac Sun store next door.

My office is in the middle of the plant on the second floor..When I look out, theres a wall..If I look down, I see an occasional forklift pass by..
I share an office with my boss now, so I dont think he would appreciate my staring out the window..My 24in monitor is my window to the world..usually its CAD stuff on it..luckily I can draw in 3D just to make it interesting..

I wont have a rack on that piece of krap cuz they wont need Flight Engineers on there. So basically I changed my whole career up to fly on a dying platform with no follow on job.

Hopefully the P-3 will hold out till the projected 2018 timeline....that will be my 20 year mark and I can retire as a Flight Engineer.
