Thanks Bob. I probably won't have time to sell it private party. Plus I will still need a vehicle. Thinking about trading it in for a cheap beater. I'm going to try and hold off selling my wife's car, but odds are it will be next.

Hope that whatever your troubles are they don't last for long. Good luck. They will give you a decent price at carmax, probably a little better than a typical trade in. It only takes an hour or so. You might be best off doing that and then buying the next one from a private party.

This has the possibility of being a lifetime problem. I haven't been charged yet, but I know it won't be long as the detective called me this morning. Criminal defense lawyers are not cheap.

Uhoh, not good to hear. I have been through the system more than once, so if you need any advice don't hesitate to ask. Remember this though, say nothing, absolutely nothing. Not until you have a decent attorney sitting next to you.
