Yeah. It proves you know to how waste good money and an engine in a POS:) :)

It does not prove anything, that was my point.

I kinda expected that from a Ranger with a 5.0....half the weight and a ton of power

u need to find a 5.0 donor explorer and u can get motor mounts, tranny mounts, radiator, rear end, and everything u need to do the swap. i would highly recommend going the fuel injected route if you can afford it. u get so much better response and reliability from fuel injection.

Just a lot of BS...look at the speedometer when they pan over to it....he sould have been over 100 instead of 50 in that amount of time....:bebored:

senseless race if you can call it that, I don't know why people brother proving what everyone else knows, and if I have to explain it to someone and they are just as dense as those kids in the video. it just proves light is fast and if you put a decent motor in it then will go faster.ain't no use arguing and if was the other way around dakota w/viper engine against F250 crewcab v8/v10/ps diesel then dodge fans would be posting crap like in the comments.

I'd run him in my RC at the track... pretty bad crest on the road they are runnin...remind's me of some younger years in Ohio...;) :driver: :driver: :driver:
It would be close at the HP/WT ratio to his advantage. I would certainly need the slicks;)
Seen a few Ranger's run here at Bradenton... one in the 10's but was "set up" for the track. Cage/Rear/Spray/Motor...ect...

No matter what you drive, someone out there will outrun you. You ever heard the story old timers tell--"I wish I still had my '68 road runner."? Anything Viper is on its way out, so let's hold on to these trucks, cause one day I believe we will be seeing them on the Barret-Jackson auction block.

What he said X2 and let's see the Ranger beats the 10, ooooo, score 1 for the Ranger. Both trucks can spin the rears until the tire self destructs, 1 point for each. The Ranger as far as I know never came OEM with any V8 power, so -1 for the Ranger because he had to mod the living $hit out his truck to even stand a chance with a OEM 10. So far we're even. Now the 10 obviously is a special version of a vehicle, manufactured in low numbers whereas Ford built Rangers by the thousands, -1 for the Ranger. Styling and ammenties: hands down the 10, I may be biased IMO but... -2 for the Ranger. Gee, the 10 is leading. OK, the Ranger won "the race" -- big f'ing deal, which one would I rather drive, hmmm let's review...:D
