this was the first time in 200,000 miles anyone has taken a wire actually down, knocking down primary as well. spark spark was the name of the game.

oh, in case you are wondering, that is a $1.81 million solid titanium pressure vessel for a texas refinery. we will be making our way to texarcanna over the next week and a half.

WOW! expensive accident. Glad no one was killed!
lol my first words when they came down was, STAY IN THE TRUCK! it was wet, and would he have gotten out, would have been DEAD, on the spot. the guardrail was hot too. scary at first, everything was lighting up. i didn't even want to get out of my car to light flares. actually the poles were ok, just need adjusting. should not cost too much, and cost me nothing.

day 5.... this is turning into a nightmare. tomorrow we have to squeeze a 16'2" load under a 15'10" bridge. after working on the trailer for 3 hours, i got the height down to 15'9". the company signed off on my liability, and waved legal recourse. either one of three things will happen. A: we fit B: we hit C: we back down an active highway and receive $6,000 in tickets. if this company kisses my ass anymore i will not need a shower for a month. i am doing them a huge favor, and they know it. so help me they bitch about my bill and i will f'in flip on them. i add surcharges every time they ask me to break the law.... they have 3, $300 surcharges as of right now. they have assured me that after tomorrow no more bs, i will be glad to get this damaged load to the receiver. where the power arced, it blasted holes in the titanium....

an update.
what a nightmare this has been.
before this week, i had never even come close to hitting a bridge.
so far we hit 3.
we took the tarp off last night, and there are a few holes from hitting the primary wires that go right thru. i will not be shocked if when we pull in, they roll it off into a ditch and leave it. 1.8mil ruined to save no more then 50,000 in transportation costs. i have a release, i am good to go.

damn, they liked the job i did so much they asked me to stay to the port.
another 400 miles to go. did not hit any more bridges today.
