What happened to the guys( Stinker etc.) useing or testin/making hydrogen kits for there cars/trucks...did you give up on this or has it become a secret?:dontknow:

I played around with a very small hydrogen generator on my Buick. I don't have any conclusive proof that it helped but I do think it gave a couple mpg.

I have since traded vehicles and am not experimenting with the new one or the 10. Plus the generator was a maintenance item having to keep solution in it and the occasional blown fuse.

I know there are quite a few manufacturers spending a LOT of money on this technology. BMW has come a long way, and has had fully-funtioning test units (Hydrogen powered piston engine) on the road for several years now, with great success. .... HONDA is actually close to making a production version of the Accord in full-on Hydrogen (H powered electric engine). Jay Leno and Top Gear did a show on it a few months ago.

if you are refering to a hydrogen generator, they are bullshit, epa has to test all devices by law and has found none to be useful.

I had two "4-banger", 5-spd Tacoma 4X4's.... Best trucks I ever owned. (yep, 2.7L 4cyl in the 4x4, I know)... I PERSONALLY KNOW it will pull the front wheels off the ground with 31x12.50 Thornbirds. I have witnesses! :rock: :burnout:

yep, thats why we got this one, brand new, 4 banger, auto:argh: air , windows xtra cab, but still basic interior, and roz dont fit well in the back
