What is Money?

Legal tender for goods or services, money (paper and coins) takes the place of gold that was used for thousands of years.

I'm really interested in what others think.

I will chime in later.

If you are referring to our currency, it is nothing but a paper IOU with nothing of tangible international value to set or stabalize it's worth to back it up(GOLD).

PS: That is why you have to be in your fifties to remember the phrase,'sound as a dollar'.

Something my wife earns...I spend...and we both agree that if we had none we could still be very happy.

I have no money so........

It's nothing

If our money is based on nothing but our good name, why do we have gold in the federal reserve and in Fort Knox....?

Money as we have known it may be history. It totally scares me that we may look up, and all of a sudden see that all that we have worked for is worth no more than the notebook paper our children use at school. It is truly a mess.
What should we be doing?:dontknow:
