Tomorrow I'm going to attempt on removing the badging "ram srt-10" symbol's from each door of my truck. I see many of you have done it so I was trying to figure out the best route to go without harming the paint, and also being able to reuse them since I want to put "srt-10" part, lower on the door.
Thanks Rog

When you use the 3M adhesive remover remember not to let it run down the truck far enough for it to get to the body molding.

I have not put mine back on so I can't help you there... The trucks look a lot cleaner when debadged!

Use a coated fishing leader and some goo-gone,saw the letters off, then soak the black adheasive with goo-gone,and use a plastic bondo spreader or your finger nail to remove the glue, you best bet is to get a set of 2006 emblems to go on the truck.

I was considering the 06' emblem but i figured that if I use only the srt-10 part and put it right above the body molding it would help keep the truck look clean but you can still be able to identify it!

Great idea, but the letters are small and it may be hard to get adheasive to stick to them and to the door.

Ive been looking and my only sure bet is remove all adhesive from the letters and use double sided 3M foam tape and do the tedious task of cutting each one to the letter....this way I know they won't fly off at high speeds:rock: :burnout:

Well good luck my brother,be sure to post pictures when done.

I heated the emblems up with a hair dryer ( or Heat gun BECAREFUL). Then while stil warm take a peice of fishing line and in a sawing mothion work it behinf the emblem. The emblem should come right off. Heat up again and use Goo Gone to remove the remainind glue. Then re aplly the emblem using 3-m tape. Make sure to clean the new surface with rubbing Alcohol then apply emblems again. Good luck bro

I used the fishing line and Goof Off,then polished for hours 'til it looked "right"

I just bought new SRT-10 emblems from the dealership ( I am sure one of our vendors will have them cheaper, though)

Reusing them is far more trouble than it's worth : proper spacing ,getting them level and aligned with each other

Look at my truck in the Buy-Sell section "Black 04 " for sale
Mine has just the SRT-10 on each door and the tailgate
"DODGE" and RAM" are gone
