What Is The Pin For!!

Can someone tell me what the little pins, paperclips and all of the other things like the green dot next to our names and so on mean??????:dontknow:

Hey Ronnie. The pins are for "sticky" subjects that stay at the top of a forum. The paperclips are there if there are attachments like pictures in the thread. And the green dot is to show a user online. I think those are all correct, though I missed that day in moderator training, I had a hangover LOL.
