Welcome...........cai does not yeild many ponies........maybe 440 rwh max. the trucks all are kinda close in numbers, however some differ dramaticly......:dontknow:

I have seen a 7 HP gain with completely bone stock 441HP vs full exhaust 448 HP,LT headers, high flow cats and a magnaflow catback with a SCT tuner both dynoed back to back!

Wow if thats not disheartening to doing those mods than I don't know what is... . I think someone with a yellow RC went from 440ish to almost 500 at the wheels with headers back...

The only problem with that is you will not see the proper gains untill you have put atleast 300 miles on the truck.. Althought you have added a tune the factory computer still takes has effect on the way it performs and needs time to adjust as the factory pc is a learning software.. do the dyno after you put on a few miles and you should see a bigger difference..

The QC will not show big gains from exhaust. My RC picked up about 35 rwhp with cat delete only on stock exhaust and an SCT tuner.

Thats phkn funny, didja git the porsche sold ?
yip, put a post on it in that thread.

but bo with headers, no cats, a cat back and a cai kit, you should reach about 470-480 or so easily.

but removing the cats only is gonna give you the biggest boost of anything, and its the cheapest

We in the real world call that traction :p,

As for the headers back, they are great for sound with a cam added but unless your going to do more and tune with them dont spend the $ if you don't have it. Save for a sc or turbo set up and then the exhaust with it:)

He would have had at least 300+ miles on it,it was on there for a couple of months before the dyno, but good point though:rock:

Just an "Old School" tip on Mods for HP.

Start from be rear and work forward.
On engines work from the bottom Up.
Use ONLY High Quality parts.
Think ahead 3 Mods, how with the first mod help the next two (as one is completed add another to keep 3) that way they will all work thogether and you don't waist your money.

Just an opinion from one of us "Old Farts", Enjoy your ride :)

+25rwhp with headers, mids, catback.

probably pull more with bellanger headers
