If I can get some good quality rims to fit over my rear calipers with no grinding and a 390/40/17 Drag Radial. Beside the shifting, what else do I need to watch out for?

roll-out, running out of gear (w/ mods), and shifting (especially w/ the 456's)...im sure there are others, but thats on the top of my mind

finding a 390/40/17 dr seems like that would be the hardest part. Thats a big mofo

Those 390 M&H drag radials work very well....Trainman pulled a great 60' on them....you will be very happy as long as you stay under 550 rwhp....you will be good for 115-117mph before you run outta gear and that won't happend until you get 650+ rwhp
