You make it sound SO easy...
Quick
Trust me it is "that" easy...
1. Build truck to handle power. (Tranny, Clutch, drive shaft, rearend) (done)
2. Hook it up. 200$ traction bars aint going to hook up an 800hp truck. Now some giant wide slicks... (like that silver truck) on a beefy rearend will hook. (done)
3. Learn to drive a stick shift like a prostock car, your foot should never come off the gas, clutch is only used on 2-3 shift... (done)
4. Make the power. (ok so this one is hard but I am working on it)
I don't want to cage my truck, I like having it a daily driver so a low 11 is all I want to run (for now). 800 reiliable hp is not going to happen on the stock bottom end... so motor build is a must. Basicly I have 3 options supercharger, turbocharger (twin or single) and 585 stroker. I don't like the roe, that leaves the paxton. Great unit for stock motor, but the best I have seen is 12psi... ehhh just not for me. I personaly hate turbos, great #'s but you know just the cost is a little over the top... So the last option is mine!!! It will take me at least a year and a half to build a motor, then with some luck I will have a low 11's n/a truck....
....maybe it's all a pipe dream though....
Thanks for your help!!!
