what type?

So you don't void the warranty... Mobil-1, I think it's written right on the oil/cap.
And Welcome to the board.

Quick

yea i kew for the oil but called three different dealers for the coolant and they could not tell me. I looked in the owners manual and it says just not to use a propylene glycol based. Does that mean any orange color coolent will work?

great to be on here , cant wait to learn about the truck and do some "light" modofying:rock:

I bought my coolant from dealership.Kinda pricey , but I wanted the peace of mind.I am fairly sure any high-quality orange coolant would be ok.

Well i guess i am a dumbass for trusting guy behind the counter,, just went into car quest and asked for the best orange colred , that was ethylene based. said i had a srt 10 <he even looked in the computer for thr write one. Well he brought me a gold colored jug "so i could not tell the Color" Well i Read the jug and it did not any of the contence that the book said was harmful.....Well got home opened it up and the liquid is clear..

Cant wait till i find a shop that knows about my truck,as all the dealers within 100 miles could not tell me anything either.

sorry about the spelling, i am from the south

LOLOLO bro I should be in panama city tuesday or so, dropping off in tampa and usually have to run to panama to gt another load.

Any good synthetic oil will do, some use royal purple, some mobil, some amsoil, and I like redline. so really as long as its synthetic you should be fine.

As far as warranty they shouldnt bother you at all unless you have a huge engine failure which isnt likely.
As far as coolant, most of the "orange" as you put it , LOLOl:D I liked that, but any long life coolant really actually will do.Just use a premium brand.

Welcome to the madhouse bro, w need som pics now!:D
