When I told her I was getting the viper she didnt believe me, when I got the plane tickets she freaked, atleast it was a long drive home.
flip side...one day i came home from work and my wife sayd to me. "I have been thinking...and I made an appointment to get my boobs done in 3 weeks, hope your not mad" My response..."go big or go home"

Fit95 said:I purchased a new mountain bike at the beginning of the summer. I hadn't rode for a couple of years and wanted to get back into it in a big way so I bought a sweet ass Specialized Stumpjumper Expert! She knows that I usually like expensive stuff, and when she would ask how much it costed, I would just say things like "more than a thousand - don't ask questions that you don't want to know the answer to" and that was that. My manuals were out because I was looking at them in my office (where I stashed the receipt for the bike) and she found it and was not happy. $3,800 for a mountain bike! The bad thing is that it has rained so much and so frequently this summer here that I have only rode it once! She managed to remind me of that too. She was more shocked than anything else. I ride a road bike regularly so the bike thing was not a flash in the pan and at least she knows that. Here is a pic of the bike - it's sweet!
