If I installed a custom CAI system, MSD wires, Mopar headers with the delete pipes, MagnaFlow or Borla exhaust and this Stage 2 PCM? In an 04 RC.... MAYBE a small hit of spray.....

I think those mods would get you in the 475 rwhp and 12.9-13.0 ET range (if you can drive). :burnout:

Add the spray and your deep into the 12s.

I got a 13.1 on just a k&n drip in and magnaflow. First time at the track too. I think he can do better..

Maybe, but you are the exception and not the rule. Just guessing, but you probably had good weather conditions (good DA) and a decent track.

Most RCs are in the 13.4 range bone stock and at your average track. I ran 13.0 with almost those same mods at a decent track (but hot weather).:dontknow:

Honestly, I think all of our RC's would run 12's if we could find 3rd.

I almost never miss third...Just aim for the spot in between the a/c & temp knobs and it will just slide in. :driver:

I would recommend the complete exhaust. That issue would be complete and would enhance any other mod.

With Traction at say, Atco? Check my sig. :D

Then add the Juice!

My theory is add juice, and add more juice.

It'll for sure get you a woody everytime you get on it...

Enjoy your truck like it is!
If you want to race, build a POS like this.
It runs 11's

IMO, paint would be nice, but that thing ain't exactly a POS!

The stage 2 PCM from DC Performance will give you the most seat of the pants enhancement for the money spent. Next I would go with 4.56 gears as it is easier on the clutch and makes it easier and more fun to drive. Anything you do after that will make it faster but a flash will give you the most bang for the buck to start with.
A few here have spent a lot of time and money, and there are some 11 second SRT-10's now. A few more will be in the 10's very soon. There might be a couple that are in the 9's in a while, and I think one might just run in the X's when it is finished later this year. The idiot that is building that one has spent over 150K on it and is not finished spending money yet.
PM me if I can help you. There are also a lot of knowledgeable folks here that can give you helpful advice, when you are ready to start modding.

Jack is right on the money about the Stage II PCM. However it is a two edged sword, it gives you a lot more bottom end but it makes it blow the tires off. I have the Stage II, Gibsons, Magnaflow, K&N Cold Air with 4.56 gear. I ran a 13.41 @ 106 with a 2.20 ish 60 ft. My last pass that night I had a 2.08 60 ft. and missed 3rd. It would have run a 13.20 or teen on that pass. With slicks and a good driver I know mine would run mid 12's.

I am probably gonna install a set of Caltracs on the rear of this truck, it's my next mod. . . .
