The front of the CG is lower than you think also. It will hit a lot of standard height curbs if you are not careful.

I say that you get a Challenger with me and stop wasting your time on those slow as cars and get something you will make people snap there head to look, not a family car

SLOW?!?!? I don't think so. The Challenger will turn heads for sometime, but so did the '93 Camaro and '94 Mustang. Like always, when the novelty wears off the head turning will stop, and long before the final payment is made. Then the driver of an automatic Challenger will be busting butt to get a newer 6spd, likely with bugs identified and removed. That's what I'm waiting for. Only THEN will I go for a Challenger..

If I were you, I would drive both before buying either. The test drive will tell the story. One of them will feel right and the other won't. Seriously, you would be crazy to buy until you drive. Since I have driven neither, I can't weigh in but lately I am partial to cars and the price on used 300's is amazing compared to the GC. I am guessing after a drive I would choose the 300 but you never really know until you take 'em for a spin. Looks wise, I consider both to be sleepers. To the untrained eye both are just basic vehicles.

When I had my Jeep believe me it turned alot of heads.

Also it was fun to bitch slap vette owners off the line and watch their girl laugh. That is in itself priceless.

The 300, well to quote the advertising for it. It is 420 horses in a three piece suit.

I am still conflicted myself.

I know what the Jeep can do but the seating in the front is narrow and not exactly big man friendly.

I guess I am too used to driving in my area. No one even notices my SRT10 and SRT8's (any of them) are definitely not head turners around here. After 12,000 miles I have driven in the SRT10 I have only been asked about it twice and both times I was not near home. Basically in this area, you have to drive a Lambo or Ferrari to get heads to turn so I guess my perception is a bit off. The Challenger will turn heads until the V6's are all over the place in a year.

Like I said, drive them and you will know by the seat of your pants if not by the grace of god. Hehe. Had to throw that line in.

in my eyes the GC SRT8 will get more looks then the 300 SRT8.

EXACTLY. That's why it's such the ultimate sleeper. I never get looks in mine... Not until I slam on the accelerator at the light and leave a long line of rubber on the asphalt. Then I can buckle my liitle one up in the back seat and drive her to school, blending in with the other parents' cars, I love it.

I voted Jeep. Had an '07 and sold it and miss it every dang day!

My bride has an 300 SRT Design (which ain't a real SRT) and it's pretty sweet.

I was waiting on a 300 SRT when I ended up buying a Magnum R/T back a few years ago.

Test drive both!

The Jeep is LETHAL off the line and you'll be doing everything you can to make sure you're first in line at the stop lights. AWD and gearing are awesome, but it runs outta gas shortly afterwards (80-ish) which is around the time the 400 pound lighter and non-BOX shaped 300/Charger/Magnum SRT will close the gap.

The Jeep is SUPER sneaky. I had no idea there was a Jeep SRT until I saw those gigantic center bumper mounted dual exhausts peeking out and those sexy three red letters.

I know I sent plenty of people (ricers, Rustangs, etc.) running home and typing "Jeep + SRT" into Google, to help 'splain the whoopin' they just got.

Good luck!

Niether will get alot of looks. So don't worry about that. The question is do you want to do nasty burnouts...I mean thats why we buy cars isn't it???
GC is going to be difficult for obvious reasons, the 300 is a nice rice and is a little more upscale in its presentation.
buy an 02 Z06, and buy a 4 door car with the money left over, the vette should be $20k, then you got plenty to find something family friendly.

Like the title says.....If you have the chance to get another ride ...what would u be ur choice between this 2 sweet rides? GC? or 300?

And for those who have this rides already how u like them?...What's ur up and downs ?.......

I have an 08 GC SRT8 and the thing is an absolute rocket ship. I have done absolutely nothing to it, and being bone stock I barely beat it in th 1/4 with my pretty heavily modded truck. As far as a daily driver, you can't beat it. Heated front and rear seats, satalite TV for the kid, great sound system, roomy (I'm 6' 4") handles great, turns heads and sounds great too. Oh, and did I tell you that it's fast as hell? Guaranteed you would'nt be disapointed with the Jeep.

plus it looks good sitting next to your truck.

Yes Slow. One is the 93 Camaro was crap unless it is a SS and the 94 5.0 was good but the H.P were no where near where they needed to be. NO the novelty never wears off, because just like this site, people that care about cars will keep them alive. Those ppl that rushed out to get a Challenger sole reason was to just have a Challenger and does not car about if it is a automatic well good on them but poor judgement, but I am ordered/ waiting for the 6-speed. However the novelty wore off on our TRUCKS, same as it did my Lightning, it is the OWNER that keeps the Peoples heads turning. Same reason you see a GT500 rolling down the street and still stare, BUt yea do not waste time with those slow car's because i drove both of them, and if I wanted a Family car I would by a toyota. But this guy does not even have a SRT-10 so it will be fast to him.
