I have about $8,000 to spend on mods. my truck is bone stock. Excluding exhaust what so you think I should do for performance mods?

I figured the blower would be the item. If it would be too light for the paxton than would the roe be more within reason?

I got quoted 10k for paxton, tune and install from RSI in Houston. In my opinion it would be worth waiting for the other 2k to surface. I don't have either but the fact that Roe won't tune or install their blower concerns me.

Damn I am happy for you, but now I am depressed :( I thought I was doing good with my piddle mods.

I agree with RedSRT007. Paxton... One thing is for sure, you will have a bad-ass CE!!!

Send it to PBJ Performance for an all motor N/A build.

I thought those were pretty pricey around 15k. Also I would have to figure out how the get the motor or truck to them:(

Ah yes, the man of few words, but a great picture that says it all.;)

Silverback is seldom wrong. I agree with him and NBT (big surprise;) ) especially seeing your goal of low 600 rwhp...

If you want to go beyond the low 600's at some point, you would probably be better off with the Paxton...

The Roe will require VEC III and Meth Injection. Your CE will require the Centerforce Clutch, and the Viper Slave and Master Cyl mod. You will have to have Cal Tracs (or you will spin your life away in the 14's).

Your budget will cover the Roe approach with all the rest too.

PBJ is in St. Louis. You can drive or trailer your truck there. Depending on how far you want to go with your truck, you can probably expect it to cost somewhere between $6K to $8K. My truck was his guinea pig. He has some ideas on tweaking my cam selection, etc for an even better build on the next one.

I can't tell you how freakin mean the N/A build sounds. The best way to describe it is that it's just NASTY now. It's a whole different animal than it was with just bolt ons. :D

Oh, btw....I ran 12.5 on my very first shake down run (with 2800 ft DA) after my N/A build (with a stock clutch). I believe 1Fast400 is the only Roe who's posted a faster time than that.

And I'm not dialed in yet.............:burnout:

I would really like to something like this but I don't know how it would be having someone do this for me that is so far away. Everytime there was a problem I couldnt just drive over to the place for help. It would really suck for me to have to reship my vehicle there. Man, you are lucky to have something like that in your backyard. There is a performance place by my house called API that I am going to get a feel for today. If they check out I might contact you and get some specs on the items that you used:D Thank you all for taking time out of your day to help me out.:D
