What would you do?

So I was driving home from my now x girlfriend's house and was on a 8 lane road(*4 each way) at 1am. I hear a noise and look over at a dark silver lightning reving his motor. We were going 60mph and he was gunning it and letting off as to race. I drop down to third and tack it up to 4k and dump the clutch and let off. Then I decided that I was NOT going to race on the street.(wtf was I thinking) Am I getting old or something? I did the yawn thing and smiled and turned off at the next exit.
My question to you is: What would you have done?
Keep in mind that this was in Virginia beach, Virginia(where they put you in jail for speeding) at 1am.
It was all I could do to restrain myself from the temptation.:marchmellow:

You blew it, what were you thinking:dontknow: you just passed up a free all expense paid vacation:argh: and if a couple of people got killed your retirment would have been paid for life with full benifits, like Bubba and the boys playing all night with you

Jail time is a good reason NOT to do it.....however if you were where I live in Florida at 1am the highway is a ghost town and it would of been on like donkey kong!

True...The guy in the L may have been drinking too. 1am there is a good chance of it.
I also live next to an 1/8 dragstrip and my neighbor the owner lets me in free. I just get tired of the track. www.northeastdragway.net :marchmellow:

I know how you feel. The other night a dude in a Mustang gt tried his best to get me to run him. At one of the stoplights was our local police station.....he was still reving his motor trying his best to get me to run. My gf kept asking me "whats wrong with this guy"? LOL
