Well my painter called 2 day and here's his plans 1st he wants to throw snake skin green flames dwn the sides and up the hood then 15 3ft led green lights underneath the truck. My ? To y'all is, is this goin to be over kill on the truck or fit it perfectley?

Are the lites widely accepted on the show circuit?? A bit too ricey for me.

Remember, this truck is for shows.
If there are shows that are inside or at night, I say go for it. I know its "ricey" but who cares. Its what people look at for shows.
There are LED kits out there that are like 7 million colors and go with the music. Why not get one of those.
As far as the snake skin green flames, I also say go for it. It will help tie in the helment and spare tire cover. Also would look good under the hood.

lights will be strictly for shows and night cruises, I myself have never been a big fan of underneath lights but the truck is suppose to grab attention and I myself thank a big green glow will get that attention.

I think in the pictures shown it looks like it is about to transform into something, and that in it self is awesome..you don't always have to have the most flash to get the most attention..i love the way it looks any thing to much more and it becomes gaudy...Just my opinion.

Honest opinion from someone that put flames on there 10

I went with the color I wanted, I didn't care what people thought



Then the flames themselves, I did a lot of looking at different styles and how they were put on vehicles. For me.. I found that flames that went all the way down the sides was just a bit (alot) to much and just on the hood and fenders just seemed to scream cheap!!!

So I did flames that went over the hood, on the fenders and then just a little onto the doors. For Me.. it seemed to have better balance and wasn't a distraction to the rest of the truck.

If it were Me.. I would be looking at the same kind of things on your truck. Do I want the flames so overwhelming that it distracts from some of the other very cool things that are on the truck. The color for me is perfect, so would a big snakeskin green flame running from nose to tail make it look better or would I just see the flame



Let me say, I love flames, and I like what your thinking. We can just express our thoughts, I know you will do what you feel is best for your Ride

Looks like your painter has pretty good taste. The type flames are already decided. They have to match the helment and tire cover.
As far as the lights, I would light that thing up. Under the hood, under the truck, in the cab.
Hell, I would do strobes and all.
Its for show, doesn't mean you have to turn them all on.

oh and as far as the light bars. On the sides, go with some long ones. If you do short ones every so many feet or inches, you will get spots that are brighter than others. The long bars will give it an even glow.

Can you tell i've done this a few times?
I use to build cars for shows. I worked at a car audio shop for 12 years.

The lights come n 3ft sections with 450 leds per section there will be 15 3ft sections and 6 1 ft sections under the truck and 5 1 ft sections lights under the hood the innder fenders will be flamed to match the outside of the truck he will have a scetch of his design faxed to me 2moro so ill upload for u guys to look at but it will be dun oct 8th so mark ur calenders!
