It was posted awile back and I even saw it on the news. Someone had modified an engine to burn water..

thats weird. some guy was tellin me about a deal today. pretty close to that.
think the site is "waterforgas"

I think Honda is coming out with hydrogen powered car. Water goes in the tank. Hydrogen is electrically split out of the water. The engine runs on hydrogen and water vapor comes out the tailpipe.

BMW made a limited production of trial vehicles that ran on Hyrdrogen. Its only waste is water. Dont remember seeing the link though.

my son and his boss built a hydrogen generator in a car at work. they built a box,put in stainless steel plates, wired like battery, put electricty to it to seperate hydrogen from O2.i thought it was acting like water injection and just cooling intake to give better milage. but they showed me that the bubbles burn.so it does work

Denny Klein was on the leading edge of this technology. He developed a torch that used water as a fuel. He also developed a car that would run 100 miles on 4 ounces of water. If memory serves, I don't think Mr. Denny is with us any longer. I'll have to do some more research but I think his death was questionable.

UPDATE: It was Stanley Meyers who died. He was developing hydrogen fuel systems just like Denny and reportedly died from poisoning (conspiracy theory) the article states.
