The dealer that I work for has a mobile interior repair guy that comes by once or twice a week. Some of the stuff that I have seen put back to new was way worse than your picture. A good shop should be able to dye that area, the only tuff thing is going to be avoiding the stitching. That would be the route I would go though as my brother tried one of those DIY dye kits and it looked like major poop.

It can easily be fixed on your own... The outer tanning on the leather just delaminated.

Try this:

Here is a "How-To":

yep. i seen it. thanks. just can't multi-quote like some.

& if i'm readin that correctly, thats out of England though???

Yeah, it is... but I'm sure if you call them they will be happy to send some over the pond. ;)

I had the drivers side upper seat cover replaced in my 2006RC. The leather cover pulled out rom the lumbar adjustment dial. This was covered under my warranty but the upper cover for a 2006 costs around $325. Not sure for the other years. If you need to replace the cover and epedning on the wear of the lower or seat cover, you may need to replace both seat covers -- to match. This is assuming you can't get the repair done.
