Hey everyone!
Finally figured out where everyone disappeared to! My first post!:rock: Ok, on to my question....I found a new in crate Tremec 6sp trans for our trucks. This one is straight out of Dodge and no not through a backdoor It would also include 2 clutch packs, throw out bearings and shifters. Whats something like this worth in our world?

you should also check with the 03/04 cobra guys I have seen a few go into those cars. The viper trans is way more beefed up then the T-56 that ford supplies.

Agree'd with what jeff said...the rustang guys put the t56 viper tranny's as an upgrade to there t56....Also, welcome to the forum !

My first thoughts on the shifter as well! I'll see if I can use them to my advantage in negotiating. We're at mid $2K for everything. With 30K on my truck I'm certain I'm not too far off from needing a new clutch...won't chirp 3rd and slave unit is making all kinds of noise.

Sell it make a few bucks and upgrade the clutch!! Sounds like a good deal to me!! Outsiders dont know how crappy that Hurst shifter really is, they just see the name hurst and get all giddy!! LOL

Welcome Chuck, good to have you aboard.

The T56 truck box is different than the T56 Viper box. Truck box is suposed to be tougher and handle more weight with the torque.

What it is worth I don't know.
Clutches are almost a throw away new, & stock shifters have little value.
